Day 13

Yes, I know that I skipped a couple of days, but I don't think that makes such a difference. Take a look for yourself at day 13's picture:

Yeah. Pretty exciting.

I'll tell you one thing about this experiment... it's made me take more pictures of other stuff because my camera is always out now. That's a plus, isn't it?

You can't tell from the picture, but I'm not smiling right now.

Day 11

Whoops. I'm unable to post day 11. Sorry. I took the pictures, but never uploaded it onto my computer to post. The picture's still in the camera and well, I don't have my camera here right now.

Rats.

I doubt the Happy Meal will look any different if I miss a day.

I'll be sure to post both Day 11 and Day 12 tomorrow.

Day 10

I read somewhere that since there's little humidity in this environment, then there probably won't be much change in the food.

I tell you, right now I'd welcome SOMETHING different than this:

Anybody have any ideas on whether the humidity theory is correct?

Day 9

Can anyone notice anything different about the Happy Meal?

I'll tell you this much... so far this experiment has made me wonder if these results are unique to McDonald's... but I'm not about to go and have a bunch of food sitting on my kitchen counter like this. If this is the result of ALL food sitting out for 9 days, then I guess I have nothing to wonder about regarding the quality of food at McD. I'll admit that I've never had food sit out on my kitchen counter for this long before, so I guess I can't answer that question.

But this Happy Meal IS something to marvel at. It hasn't changed at all! Incredible.

Who needs formaldehyde anymore?

Day 8

Ok, here we are at day 8 and it doesn't look any different yet AGAIN.

I seriously think I need to spice these pictures up. Maybe I should have some go-go dancers in the background or something...

There is NO smell at all to the food. I'm not even going to venture on how it would taste.

The bread is as hard as a rock. I think I could decapitate someone if I threw it hard enough.

The meat patty could be used as a hockey puck.

The fries? Blow darts for bushmen.

Day 7

It's day 7 and still, nothing has changed.

This is beginning to look like a broken record, isn't it?

What can we do to spice this up a bit? Maybe throw some hot sauce on it? Draw a happy face on the bun?

Do you think anything's going to change about this Happy Meal in 6 months? I'm beginning to think "no."

Day 6

Day 6 is upon us and there still doesn't seem to be any change in the Happy Meal.

Is this starting to worry anybody?

Doesn't the food still look good enough to eat?
